Most of the songs in this album were inspired by the big bands. A special tribute is given to Harry Warren who must hold the record for the largest number of hits songs ever. I first heard his music at the movies back in the 1940s. Big bands like Glenn Miller and Harry James loved Warren's music ("Chattanooga Choo Choo", "Kalamazoo", etc). And whenever I hear At Last or The More I See You, I think of a crowded ballroon with the mirrored ball revolving overhead, the girl I was dancing with, and the magical aroma of her gardenia corsage. I Only Have Eyes For You, I Know Why (and So Do You), You'll Never Know and I Had The Craziest Dream complete the Warren Tribute. I hope you will also enjoy P.S. I Love You, Trust In Me, I Should Care and one of your most requested tunes, It Had To Be You. And finally I had to put in Johnny Geen's I Cover The Waterfront and two Rodger & Hart favorites - Isn't It Romantic? and Manhattan.

All of these and more in COCKTAIL PIANO VII. So sit back, relax, and enjoy!
